#Blog4: Happy Lunar New Year Everyone :)

in #blog7 years ago (edited)

In Asia, on these days, we are all off - work to gather in our warm house to celebrate Lunar New Year. The Lunar New Year as well as Spring festival is celebrated in many countries especially Asian countries like Japan, Korea, Viet Nam and China,...In Viet Nam, each house has stunning Vietnam red flag so the streets of Viet Nam have turned red with national red flags to celebrate Lunar New Year.

Family also get together to eat different delicious dishes, such as steamed or boiled chicken , Chung cake with mung beans, sticky rice and pork and colorful dried fruits and nuts. They believe these the traditional dishes will bring family unity and happiness.
I think it is precious chance to meet all the members of the family.

Celebrations of the new year rarely lacks the display of fireworks - the noise and lights believed to scare the evils away. The most beautiful time is welcoming Lunar New Year with glittering fireworks with your family and friends.

Red envelopes containing cash are also given out to children by their families or relatives or other house guest to wish them a happy New Year.

Children love receiving red envelopes very much :)) Me too.
I hope everyone start the new beginning without fear, let 2017 go and welcoming 2018 with all Happiness, Good health, New dreams, New experiences and New joys. :)
