Me - Is it a good attitude to make a gril regret who rejected you by becoming a better person?
My mentor- "If a girl rejected you, then move on. Life it too short to worry about making a girl regret that she rejected you. I should know, I was that asshole. There was a girl in college that I really liked who wouldn’t even give me the time of day. I caught up with her on social media and came out to where she worked to say Hi. I drove my 2012 Bentley GTC to the meeting. She had been following me on social media and she was obviously read in on my success. Meanwhile she had a failed marriage, 5 kids and a shitty job. After visiting for a while, as I turned to walk away, I said “Bet you wish you had taken me up on my offer back in college now”. Almost crying she says “Yeah, I do.” Well, I got news for you… it still hurts me to think about how much that hurt her. She is a good person in a bad situation called “her life” and I made it worse. Don’t be the same kind of asshole I was, it isn’t worth it. For what it’s worth, I’m sorry."
