ALL ABOUT AR, VR and MR

in #blog7 years ago

These are the terms which frequently come up in the same conversation and are often confused with one another by the less informed. You know what? The difference is huge, and is worthy of a deep explanation!

Yes, there’s a big thing in common between Augmented Reality(AR) and Virtual Reality(VR).
Both of them have the remarkable ability to alter our perception of seeing the world and where they differ is- the perception of our presence.

The Virtual Reality(VR)

The virtual reality brings us some order place or in other words, it is able to transpose the user through the closed goggles. The VR blocks out the room and puts the presence elsewhere.

The Augmented reality(AR)

Stepping into Augmented reality or AR, we can look at the standard definitions for “augmented”. The word indicates that it is adding something to make the original bigger or better than before. Thus, that mean superimposing of data of an image on the real world or creating layers of digital information over the real world entity that can be seen through any supporter device.

The Mixed Reality(MR)

In case of Mixed Reality(MR), it is a bit of a blend of virtual reality(VR) and Augmented reality(AR). The Mixed Reality(MR) is the fusion of the real world and digital world together for an entirely new experience.

Hope you now get a little idea about the differences and the common espects.
