Business podcasts to rock your world!steemCreated with Sketch.

Here are three epic business podcasts to get your teeth into right now! They are all in the entrepreneurship kind of genre because that’s what I’m most interested in!

I got into the podcast thing a couple of years ago. I really like their ability to turn otherwise dead space (such as commuting, in the gym, out on a run etc) into productive time. You also get to choose the topic rather than the forced radio drivel we’ve all just learned to live with.

The James Altechur Show

Whos he?

James Altucher is a serial entrepreneur. He’s started 20 companies, 17 that have failed, but he has gained a heck of a lot of wisdom along the way! James is a raw talent, super intuitive in his interviewing technique, and isn’t afraid to ask the difficult question!

‘If you’ve ever been stuck — in a job you hate, in a house you can’t afford, in a life you don’t want, in your own depressed mind, anything — I want to help you’ http://www.jamesaltucher.com .

What’s the podcast about?

James interviews super inspiring guests about their journeys. Most of them fall into the entrepreneurial genre, with a lot of notable headliners; Tim Ferris, Tony Robbins, Gary Vaynerchuk, Arianna Huffington just to name a few!

The Virgin Podcast with Dominic Frisby

I’ve heard of Virgin, that Branson guy started it! But who’s Dominic?

Dominic Frisby is a financial writer, comedian and expert speaker on various topics. He’s written a great book on Bitcoin and the blockchain, as well as the book ‘Life after the state’ discussing the inefficiency of centralised government. Head to his website to find out more https://dominicfrisby.com/.

He sounds interesting, is the podcast cool?

I love this podcast! Dominic interviews notable people of influence, mainly from the business world, but not exclusively. My favourite episodes :

Cecile Reinaud, founder of Séraphine maternity fashion line
Richard Reed, the founder of Innocent Drinks
James Watt, the co-founder of the Scottish brewery, Brewdog,
Nick Wheeler, co-founder of the iconic Jermyn Street shirt brand, Charles Tyrwhitt

Unfortunately, the podcast is on hiatus, but I do hope it will return. Don’t worry though, you have quite the back log to work your way through!

The GaryVee Audio Experience

Who’s he?

Well, in case you didn’t read my post yesterday! Gary Vaynerchuk is an incredible 21st century entrepreneur. He grew his family wine business from $4m to $45m in just five years. He then went on to start VaynerMedia with his brother AJ Vaynerchuk, one of the fastest growing media agencies in the world. If you were watching the World Series final which saw the Chicago Cubs storm ahead to victory, Vayner was responsible for the brilliant piece of media in collaboration with Budweiser, documenting the Cubs heritage and journey to the final. Gary also is a seed investor in some major tech start ups, most notably Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Uber, and Snapchat.

What’s the ‘audio experience about”?

The content is a mix of:

  • Inspiring rants such as ‘Stop overthinking your mistakes’ or ‘My thoughts on college’.

  • Ask Gary Vee show: this is a combination of Gary interviewing great guests (musicians, business magnets, authors, motivational speakers) and a call in hour, where fans can ask their questions to Gary and his guest of the episode.

  • Keynote talks: Gary often shares full version’s of his keynote talk’s from events around the world. This is pretty cool, as some of those events can cost thousands of dollars to go to!
