Happy Mother's Day

On a day like today, where emotions may run in hundreds of different directions, let us pause to remember that our God is a miracle worker. Even when the miracle we have been praying for does not seem to be the miracle He is working on.

I experienced this years ago with my mother's death. We prayed for the miraculous, only to discover God's hand in so many other ways.

Wherever you are in the journey of faith, know this: Our God is working. And when He is working, things are changing from one degree of glory to the next. And the glory to come never looks like we think it will - for if we are honest, that wouldn't be glorious at all.
