What would you do if you where not afraid?
Hell of question Justin Rhodes and his wife discussed that lead to the Great American Farm Tour on YouTube. Something I thought about often this last year. After much deliberation and research the wife and I have decided to sale our small farm in Ky to relocate to the Florida panhandle. How ironic a video series on farms would lead to selling the farm!!! I have always been impressed by small space permaculture, so I still plan to do alot of gardening. Instead of fighting nature to extent season's with our greenhouses, I am simply moving to where the seasons are longer.
My almost breaking point was two cases of gout. One after eating deer steaks, the other was after eating my own home grown tomatoes. It's like this state is trying to kill me. I might as well go to where the fishing is awesome and there is more time to paddle.
I love canoeing and kayaking and so does my 7 and 5 year old. American Eagle in flight in the circle. I was excited, my oldest was more interested looking at a bug in the canoe and my youngest was looking at a fish.
The other breaking point was a yard garden tour in Pensacola, Florida where a laddy showed of a apple tree she planted in 2016 that was almost the size of a tree I planted in 2012!
If you can't beat them, join them! Found a buyer for all my animals, and away they went.
This is usually the time of year we are planning for what plants we are going to start. Instead we are wrapping up a couple home improvement projects.
No more snow for Joe after this winter... Father in Heaven willing.
