So. Two days in and life feels pretty much the same. No work, as usual. Well,... that's not strictly true. I've got something lined up for Thursday and Friday, and to be honest with you, that's unusual for January.  

I finally went to sleep last night at about quarter to nine. I woke up this morning at nine thirty. That's over twelve hours without waking once. Admittedly, I hadn't slept since I woke on Saturday morning. That's around sixty hours!!

The whole escapade was mainly fueled by gin, bloody Mary's, amphetamines and cocaine. I can remember thinking at the time, "I'm getting everything done! I'll Quicky do this, then I'll do that!!!!!" 

Sadly, I woke this morning to find it wasn't true. I'd achieved fuck all. Alright, I'll give myself a break. I got some of my website done and posted a few outstanding blogs. If I remember doing anything else?..........nope.

I came to the conclusion this morning. "I must try harder!" Fuck. That's almost like a new year resolution! I must be losing it....
So. I started out the day feeling slightly overslept and determined to make some positive moves forward. Ha! I Just made myself laugh typing it. What a prat!

An hour or so later after coffee I went with Carter food shopping. It had to be done. Plus, I'd almost run out of gin!?! It wasn't too bad. Apart from the appalling weather(as the owner of an M51 parka can deal with it and still look cool), and, obviously, the utter cunts shopping in Sainsbury. 

After arriving back and dealing with the shopping(and the gin!), I fitted Carter's new light fitting in her bedroom. I suppose I was making up for the non-achievement previously.

After that, having dinner and messing around with the bloody website gets me to here. Louis is back to school tomorrow so is the weather is still this bad I'll get up and take him. I can hear the rain pounding down on the window now. 

I must catch with things. I will try harder!!....

The backlash of the last few weeks/months is hitting now. Apart from feeling like I've been run over, my brain is reminding me how many things have been neglected.  Its need for the utter organisation is intense. Forcing panic and paranoia into my lifeless, heavy corpse. The two are fighting against each other.

Stresses!

Extra stresses always present themselves at these moments in your life. 

I went to work earlier. I popped to Windsor to "fault find" in a network for some design company. I'm expecting that the answer will be rats. Yep. Rats chewing through there cables. Small design offices tend to be dirty places. There was food and crap all over the floor. What do they expect? This attracts the rats but, for some reason, they like the taste of a network cable. 

When I got back we had other issues. Sky had blocked her mobile and was experiencing high call volumes on service line due to the bad weather.........!! Hire more people you Cheapskate fucks! On top of this, her son started shift work today. Forgot his locker key and remembered he needed lights for his bicycle. This, I dealt with.

I've just added to my helpfulness today by deconstructing the Christmas tree and sorting out Carter's phone problem. She's back on! She's gone off to collect her son from his first shift. She forgot her, newly reinstated, phone. I doubt this will help her present state of annoyance.

My endeavours today have secured me a bit of bonus work for Saturday. 

I'll have to reassess the Day now. It seems to be turning around. For me, at least.

I made Carter some dinner, fed Louis, made his lunch for tomorrow and finished my shaving and showered. Then, being slightly behind everyone else, watched Kong-Skull Island. It was strangely enjoyable and apparently, he's not the only Kong. "What an excellent franchise set-up!" I thought, in my usual sarcastic way.  

Luckily, I turned over and Game of Shadows was on. My great by the choice Stephen Fry as Mycroft Holmes. Something to fall asleep too? Definitely.

Dorking in the rain. Joyous!

The drive was horrendous. Pitch black and pouring down with rain. Hopefully, the work won't be too bad. We are currently sitting in a business park, waiting for admission. Usual shit.

One very good breakfast and ninety-six cables later we are getting on towards, what we consider, a days work. I'll be returning tomorrow with one other to complete what's needed until they get slightly closer to end of construction. For example, having walls up. As usual, we have arrived way too early in the job schedule but we've done what we needed to.

After getting home, I made the classic mistake of laying down for a bit. I fell asleep and now feel shite. Typical. 

I'll have to go out, buy some fags and make Louis' lunch so I'll have to get up. Uuuhhhh!!!!! 

That ginger bastard didn't care. He probably tried to eat me whilst I was asleep.
