Hip, hip, hooray for Norway!

The 17th of May is Norway's national day. On this day in 1814, Norway's Constitution was dated and signed.
🇳🇴

Since the late 1800s, children and adults have celebrated the day more than what is usual for many other countries' national day markings, including children's parades.

17th of May is celebrated by everybody in Norway with local childrens parade, where musicians and school children march together. It is common to arrange games for the children at the schools afterwards.

Corps bands is important in the parades.

Every city/place has its own Citizens parade. Every citizen is welcome to join in, but it's mostly led by marching bands and local sports clubs, often for children. The townspeople gather around cheering, waving the Norwegian flag and blowing whistles.

Too late to celebrate.
I am sad for what happened to you but you brought it on yourselves like everyone else.
When the far right became illegal, the political system became a black hole where things can only go in one direction, which is demise.
Norway lost its independence when it signed on whatever made it participate in the Schengen treaty.

That may be, but we are still happy on the 17th of May 😄🇳🇴

You should mourn instead.

Haha 😂 yes, that would be the correct respond. But it is more fun to be happy! Nothing good comes from beeing mad 😉

The sooner people get mad, the sooner and easier they may react.
Patience is necessary in some situations, and the lack of it is necessary in other situations.
In retrospective it is quite obvious that patience led you in the wrong (for you) way.
There are evolutionary reasons for the existence of impatient people.
The magnitude of betrayal of your past, present and almost surely future politicians against you is humongous.
Not just the left.
All except from the far and illegal right were and are traitors.

Hi hop hooray ? :

Yes its supose to be a celebration of that we got our freedom, but im left wondering; Are we really free? based on whats going on in this world i whould argue; no. Based partly on what @stimialiti sayed in his comment. As there is so much going on that does not really benefit the people as its supose to.

But by all means, use this day to spend quality time with family and friends, but could be beneficial to also learn a little about true freedome ;)

Wish I was more interested in politics, so I could give you a great answer. 😉 But I celebrate Norway, the good life and family, not the Constitution. As I said to @stimialiti he is right, but I can't focus on that 😕
