Back from gone

in #blog3 years ago

Oh hi! I was away for the weekend, but I didn't tell you.

They say you're not supposed to tell, because if you tell beforehand, evil people come to clear out your house while you're gone. I like my house. I like my stuff. So I listened to them.

So we had a family weekend and I would tell you about it now, but I feel quite uninspired. I took pictures aswell, but they are not yet anywhere to be see on my pc. Except for the above one, which I e-mailed.

I think I'm still in the re-energizing state after the weekend. It's all fun and games for most, but it wears me out! Too many people, too many impressions, too many things that go differently than what I'm used to. We get our own little house on the vacation park to sleep better (many snorerererers in the family!) and we can always pull back there to regain some sanity and energy. I try not to though, because mum likes our company aswell.

Sleeping somewhere else is also a challenge ofcourse. Lots of weird sounds and uncomfortable beds. We skipped the last night there and went home instead. The only thing we'd be missing would be a breakfast where everyone would be running around, packing and cleaning anyway.

Gosh, I love my own bed.

We did manage to be up early enough yesterday to do groceries before every other person in the area would, so we're all set now for most of the week. Luckily, hubby still has today off to recharge. He also didn't feel very well yesterday, so I hope he had a good sleep and feels better today.

Anyway, I'll probably talk more about the little vacation later, once my pictures are on the computer and once I'm less tired. For now, I'll stick to gaming and taking care of hubby and laundry.

Hope you're all doing well!

Gosh, I love my own bed.

Oh yeah.

I understand you perfectly.

As a child, I did not like to sleep in places other than my blood. I just liked to sleep at my grandmother's house on the floor. She laid old blankets, fur coats and we slept on this.

Over time, I learned to sleep anywhere, with any noise at any time of the day. The Army taught me this - not to sleep for several days and be able to sleep in any conditions.

Sometimes when fishing, I sleep on the bare ground. I even had to sleep in the snow.

But it's best to sleep at home in your own bed!

Looking forward to seeing more photos from your trip.

Glad you were able to get away, even although you missed your own bed ! @playfulfoodie

You look really tired take some rest. And enjoy your day

If it is true that when we go to another place that is not our house, many times we feel uncomfortable, but we have to think that it will only be for a few days and then everything will return to normal, with this we can enjoy a little more of the place where We have gone on a trip. Greetings.

It is good to be cautious, and more in these times of wickedness, and thank God they had a few days of relaxation. Greetings.

It is very true what you say and I understand you, a long time ago we went camping and stayed in tents and that was one of the worst nights I have spent, between the cold and the discomfort to sleep, I really did not enjoy much.

Thank you for telling us about that experience of staying in another place that is not your home, I think it has happened to most of us, and it is not a very pleasant experience. I hope you tell us more about this vacation. Greetings.
