There are some bills in the House of Representatives. You can read the article to find more, but behind them is basically taskforces and initiatives to spin wheels digging into blockchain technology for something that isn't there. It's all an excuse to chase one's own tail. For example, a report on blockchain's use in trade to sniff out fraud. This will inevitably lead to an FTC taskforce which will require further funding from the government. See where this is going? It's an excuse to spend even more money. Of course, only 10% of the appropriated funds from the budget will actually go toward this while the rest is used to line the pockets for US senators and PAC's.
