Show Kevin some love

Am I wrong in thinking that Kevin Pillar is becoming the best Center Fielder in the American League, if not Baseball? Not only does he frequently make unbelievable circus catches, but he is now starting to get it done at the dish. Today his walk off Homer gave his Blue Jays their 5th straight win, and a 4 game sweep over the Seattle Mariners.

Speaking of which, I think I was a little premature in writing off the Blue Jays Playoff chances this year. Even if the "early" part of the season is over, it is still in its first third. If the Jays can manage to string together more wins and claw their way back to the .500 mark, and keep it going, with the expanded playoff format they might just, at least qualify for the Wildcard game.

I just hope that all their April losses don't come back to haunt them in September.
