Have you come across such a person?

I have observed people just assume things and attack others without any rhyme or reason. This is especially evident on blogging platforms such as these. There is a social etiquette and when people from all over the world are involved, it is better to be polite and cordial and not be rude.

I wrote a few points in bulleted form so as to get my view across in a simple manner. If you have come across such people, please just keep away from an argument and point out the fact. It is better to settle arguments in a civilized manner rather than getting involved in a messy fight of words.

• Please do not assume things and attack others
• Always behave in a polite manner
• You may come across rude people who try to taunt you but ignore such taunts otherwise you will also be dragged down by people who cannot control their own emotions
• Life is not to be wasted on things that will destroy your peace of mind and happiness - remember peace, not pieces
• Love everyone irrespective of differences and you never know who will be there to help you out in times of need
• It is good to have a few close friends who are ready to help you out always, even in the online field
• Social media is fast becoming a venue for mudslinging and personal abuse. Avoid such encounters and tighten your security; better be safe than sorry
• Never reveal your identity to people online if you can help it because you never know who is going to misuse the information you just gave out

Pleasant words and warm behavior will always win you friends and not foes.
