Well, i am not stressing, on the fact that you can become successful, and thrive and flourish without Sweating and Toiling Hard enough, that's just not possible.
But rather my Point Is that

People Who Work In a Definite Direction, With a clear cut, simplified and analyzed Ideology are Far More Successful In Creating a Profitable Business and Making Fortunes For themselves ... and those around them

On a better note, it's a win-win situation , for the lead creator/developer as well as people involved In creating Her Vision alive!
Now, if only You grant me , a certain leniency, i shall prove it straightaway how ''Working hard, as an indefatigable worker, Can and Is a Guarantee / Warranty of a Stagnant, Monotonous Routine to follow up to, a decent paycheck to meet your bare survivalistic, regular day needs but Will/Shall never Carve out a fortune for you...No Matter how hard you may try''!!
Because, as the saying goes ,

Now, many people will raise questions on the authenticity of the above quote, i mentioned.... Dear esteemed readers, i value your skepticism and infact take it as a credibility factor, as thoughtful, curious doubts shall only better and shape up, clear and simplify seemingly complicated issues..
I will say it loud and clear that , the reason, it is so , is because it's an exhausting, self defeating , pointless pursuit. The phrase itself equates humans to rats, who are provided with appropriate ,tempting luscious baits, click-baits, in an attempt to earn a reward such as 'cheese',, to no avail..
Throughout their lives, people keep repeating and trying same worn out methods, in hopes of having a better and different result... and i shall call such people Insane..

Have you ever witnessed how a mason builds and works at construction sites non-stop, for 12-14 hours, and is still rewarded with a small handful amount of 'apple -pie',, whereas people who work at ,, say a technical firm , or in Marketing World, are generously rewarded with a large ''Choco-Cake''.
Why do you think there is such huge variation??what could be the plausible reason..
Obviously! If you compare , and take a dig at ''Who Works Harder, Physically''?
