RE: Lets talk about sex....

in #blog7 years ago

My thoughts exactly, as you’ve already read over at my blog!

As for the gender gap on SteemIt, though, that may be precisely the cause. Men are much more visual and are more easily seen as nasty pervs if they speak about sex (as opposed to women who become “empowered” through it) so the majority either will refrain from the topic or be satisfied by the specie pics.
An exception may be a member of the Italian community who’s started the new sensuality trend that I’ve gladly followed. He writes in Italian, right now, but I’ll be sure to share what he may produce in English.

I’d love it if there was also an International community of sex writers to be a part of (or maybe there is and I just haven’t found it yet).

I'm not sure about that.
When it comes to steemit, I think the posts are made more just looking for up votes and making money, rather than interested in the subject of sex.

A pair of tits screen shotted from the internet is much less effort than writing.

My partner is as visual as most guys (porn etc - which I like to, don't get me wrong), but like he says - porn is the icing - a sugar rush - , but reading erotica is the whole cake. ..

(Porn is easier than reading though , especially if you are drunk and partying! lol.)

Maybe we should make a tag where only written erotica/ chat about sex, is allowed? ( I don't know how that would work here ,though...)

I don’t think tags can be appropriated. If someone uses #erotica for a pair of tits off the web, we can’t force him to change tag.
But we could choose to use always the same tag when writing erotica (as first tag or one of the following). Like... well... #erotica seems the most obvious. The Italian user I’m in contact with users #erotic, so that’s what I use for my posts in Italian. But I use #erotica for the English posts already.
