RE: とりあえず1〜2週間は実験してみたい
I do wonder how things will change if Steem can grow to millions of users. Then we could see big names trend just based on their fans. For now we have a few accounts with a lot of power who control things. Some choose to use it for 'evil' and personal gain. Growth is slow for now, but maybe something will happen to change that.
It is an interesting thought experiment in economic modelling terms.
The economic principles at play here are based on the Austrian School of economic theory.
One of the guiding principles of that school of thought is in a form of benign dictatorship. Which is almost exactly what we have here except it's more leaning towards rival cartels amongst the whales.
It is not 'evil' it is just a pure and naive form of capitalism. Rather like the kind of capitalism hated and loved by sixth formers...immature and ill conceived.
It can evolve but mass adoption...?
This platform gives us the potential to help others whilst still earning ourselves. If people just take then I consider that counterproductive. Pure capitalism does not care about anyone else, but most of us have some empathy.
It very interesting to observe from a socioeconomic perspective.
Agreed that your assertion above may be seen by some as the ideal scenario but as we and many others have discovered.
There are many others here that do not have any empathy or vision for others or what this platform could be.
Classic sociopaths with a ton of steem. Shame but that is part of the current steem reality.
They also believe they are right in their version of gaming the economic system?
