Introducing Four Worn Soles
Hi Steemers!! When @vcclothing and I first joined Steemit at the start of 2018, we had no idea how much we would enjoy the "blogging" process.. So much so, that we decided to start our very own travel blog!

We have really loved sharing our stories and photos with you all. Especially the ones from our travels! But when we first started, we didn't really have any idea on how to "blog."

So most, if not all our blogs on this platform have been a bunch of our ramblings accompanied with our photos. We have tried to fine tune these early, first time blogs to hopefully an improved version of them.

With plenty of content already at our disposal, next on the list was deciding what to call our blog. After an hour or so of brainstorming through all our travel related experiences.. one thing kept coming up. Worn out/broken thongs and sneakers from all the walking and crazy adventures! So this is how Four Worn Soles came to be. 😁
Then with the help of a couple of talented friends our website and logo were born! Up to this point it was a pretty fun and creative experience. We got to relive our travel adventures while re-writing our blogs and come up with a design for our logo and website. Things were going well as we started to work out WordPress.

Along with uploading our blogs, we have also tried to school ourselves in all the other things you need to have in order to create a half way decent travel blog. I'm talking plug ins, affiliate marketing, alt attributes, SEO and everything else that up until a few months ago I had no idea what they were. What a mindf@$# and potential relationship ruiner this part of the process has been! Haha but pleased to say we are getting there.

While it's been challenging and a huge learning curve, we feel like we are finally starting to get somewhere. We now have over 20 live blogs on our site, with many more to come!

We would be extremely grateful for any feedback on how you all think it is going. Since this is all new to us we welcome any input you might have. Especially from anyone who understands SEO and can explain it in layman's terms 🤣

Other than that, we hope you enjoy our blog. Our goal is to keep learning and bettering it as we go. Eventually we would like it to be a one stop shop for travel inspiration. Featuring destination guides, travel stories, pics and videos.

It sure has been a fun ride 😊 we have learnt alot about websites since we have started that's for sure.
Even though steemit was once a great place when we started, to these days it's just bots and no real interaction unless your a whale.
None the less steemit has been fun! blogging about our travels and reliving the memories through our stories, it will be great to look back on when we are old 🍺🍺🍺
