Trading Blog #5

Currently my bankroll is at 4680 USD. I've cashed out 1134 USD which would give me a total of 5814 USD. I think I started with about 3146 so I have made a profit of 2668. I hadn't been keeping track of my deposits/withdrawals and it is kind of hard to look over my history but I'm pretty sure I put in about 3146 of my own money.

I wish I never cashed any money out because it's depressing to not reinvest all of the profit and keep growing the bankroll. I have almost 0 control of myself when I want to buy stuff and waste money. My previous strategy was long term holding but now I am doing more daily/weekly swing trading. If something has a big dip I buy it and hold till it goes up and then I sell. I would have potentially made $30k profit on sia coin when sia was added to bittrex and it pumped to 5000 satoshi on bittrex. But poloniex had sia disabled for withdrawals at the time so I was watching in horror as the price went from 300 to 5000 and I couldn't be apart of it.

Even though I missed that pump I've still made a lot of profit trading sia on bittrex. I'm not sure exactly how much since the amount of money I have put into sia hasn't been consistent but I made at least a few hundred USD. I also traded it a little on poloniex before transferring everything to bittrex. I think I have too much money in sc at the moment but the price has been going from 300 to 400 a lot recently making it really good to trade.

I have also been doing a little arbitrage between poloniex and bittrex. On May 25th I noticed etc was a lot higher on bittrex than poloniex so I sold everything I had on polo for etc and sent it all to bittrex and made about 240 USD. I bought about 89 etc on polo for 0.72634280 BTC and sold it all on bittrex for 0.83345381 BTC with a profit of 0.10711101 BTC.

I've made a profit trading xrp as well but again I'm not sure how much with buying and selling random amounts and depositing from polo to bittrex.

I just bought into a somewhat new coin called verge coin XVG. I think it may be a good long term hold.

On May 27th when the price of bitcoin went to around 2800 USD and then fell to around 1600 USD I didn't have any extra USD available to buy into btc. I would have loved to buy at 1600.

If my trading keeps going well I want to start long term holding again by making saving accounts with various coins by depositing my profits and trading with a separate bankroll.
