#Ulog 01. "Noo I don't wanna drink, I have to go to the dentist!" I said...

"Noo I am not going to drink today" I replied when I arrived downstairs. It was still just 11 AM, way to early to drink and I had to go to the dentist later that day. But than Belva started talking to me and I changed my mind after lunch, around 12:30 pm.

One shot shouldn't be a problem and the dentist was a friend of Rufela so it should be okay. But as many people know.. One shot never stays one shot and when we almost finished the first bottle of tequila I was already on my way to buy one more bottle. So I came back with two, better enough was going trough my mind since we were with Ulysses, the worst drinker in Cebu :p "Ohh my god what am I doing?" I thought and imagined myself what would happen if I did this in Holland, but Hey, this dentist is a cool guy and a friend of Ruffie so it should be okay!

As we kept on drinking it started to be late, time to go to the dentist.. Tipsy. As we had to wait to long for the grab car we arrived 30 minutes later than planned by the dentist. "Filipino time" they call that here. But thank to Uly we arrived at least with the last bottle of tequila and as I was laying in the chair with my mouth open, I had a break while Ruf and Uly opened already the bottle.

I can say, It is a great experiences to arrive tipsy by the dentist. Stress free! He only had to seal a few tooth since it is cheaper in the Philippines than back in Holland. If he had to remove a tooth it would have bled probably a lot since the blood becomes thin because of the alcohol, but I knew my teeth were all okay :)

Soon he was already finished and very thirsty of his long working day. I was his last client so it was impossible for him to say no to a shot of tequila! Sad enough we forgot the lemon and salt but hey, it was still lots of fun! Only here in the Philippines! I never thought I would ever find a dentist I like :p

This was a strange but fun day! Party in the hostel, going to the dentist while the party was still going on... A once in a lifetime experiences! And I never expected that the dentist would drink with us and he even gave me discount! Why should life be so boring? Why should the dentist be scary? Just make a party from every minute of your life!
