5 Things To Learn From Little Children

in #blog17 years ago (edited)

It is amazing to know all the wonderful lessons adults can learn from little children….Yes , little children. If you are in doubt then check out these 5 lessons:

• Forgiveness: It doesn’t matter how much a little child is hurt or thinks he has been hurt, he is ever willing to forgive and even forget the very next minute. How remarkable to think that one should never hold on to grudges and just move on in life.

• Be fearless: Dare to dream big and let your imaginations and aspirations know no boundaries. Did it ever occur to you that there are no walls of limitation in the mind of a child? They actually believe that they can achieve anything and although adults often find this ridiculous, there is still a lesson to be learnt from this.

• Ask questions: Always ask questions, no matter how stupid it may sound. Rather than a sign of weakness and uncertainty, asking questions is a true sign of strength and intelligence. If you never ask, you will never learn. It is as simple as A B C.

• The secret of repetition: A wise man once said that repetition is the law of deep and lasting impression. How true this is. My toddler recites his poems, sings songs and reads his favorite book over and over again without ever getting bored. The more we hear something, the more we are more likely to believe it. This is so useful for business application especially in corporate communications where a company tries to keep a product or service in the minds of customers/clients.

• Smile and laugh more: Laughter improves breathing, reduces stress, lowers the blood pressure, strengthens the immune system, relaxes muscles, reduces pain and most of all - It is free!!!. Amidst the hustles and bustles of life, adults can learn how to harness the powerful health benefits of laughter and smiling.
