Risk it all

It is overcast and cloudy in San Antonio TX today. My boys decided to play a game.

One of the board games that they like to play is Risk. We have a couple different versions. Risk was their Dad's favorite game growing up. Somewhere around here we have the one he played with. This is the one they are playing today.

We even have a Star Wars version.

I love how this helps them to cooperate with each other. They are conquering the world together yet they are playing against each other. They help each other then will turn around and get upset with each but these are moments they will share as adults. They will look back and remember the fun more then the battles.

Can I call this school work for today? It's got futuristic geography, math, logic and reasoning, problem solving. I'm sure it counts. LOL Love homeschooling my kiddos.
