Story of the Film

There’s Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, Michelle Williams as his ex-wife Anne Weying, and yep, that’s the symbiote rearing it’s… head? in some kind of container. That’s everything most people know about Brock’s transformation into Venom, but with a little more Riz Ahmed and Reid Scott. Even Eddie’s voiceover about personal demons just indicates this is going to be an origin story, which is just par for the course for superhero movies.Still, this is just a teaser for the film, which slides into theaters October 5, so maybe Sony’s saving any plot details or signs of Carnage for the first proper trailer.
