Three elements needed to change the world

According to Erick Olin Wright, to change the world you need:

1. «A social theory capable of explaining how the world works»
2. «A desirable, viable, and feasible proposal of an alternative social organization»
3. «A political strategy that takes into account the strengths and weaknesses of the system, the possibilities for change and the social forces involved»

The substancial lack of current anti-system movements is a proposal for an alternative social organization. In part due the absence of a social theory that allows us to formulate such proposal, as well as a coherent political strategy capable of making it a reality. That is what Olin Wright suggests in his book Envisioning Real Utopias.
