The road to financial freedom. Money - is it good or bad?

in #books8 years ago

Any wealth begins with a thought ...

Hello, dear friends! We continue to consider the ideas, concepts and books, which allow to achieve success. And today I wanted to talk about finances. This is for 2 reasons for it. 1 reason - it's a new book that we begin to explore “The road to financial freedom." Its author - already known to us Bodo Schaefer (a reference to his previous book "Laws of the winners" I will leave at the end of the article). 2 reason - is that modern man can not live without money.

Before we get to the book, I would consider an interesting idea.

Tell me, what is money?

Many people think the standards of "good" and "bad." People in general tend to endow inanimate objects properties. So it is easier to perceive. And it's easier to defend its position. Hence the opposition of two statements appear: 1. Money - is the source of evil. 2. Money - a source of good. Let's look at these views.

1. Money - is the source of evil. This statement comes from the fact that some people believe that the rich man = bad person. They believe that money cause defects and negative things. Money corrupts, and tempt people spoil. That think peaple who have no money. They feel romantic, a poor man and be a philosopher at the same time. They believe that their laziness and unwillingness to make can be justified. How? Just saying that the money - it's evil.

2. Money - a source of good. This statement comes from the fact that a person sees, what opportunities he is given the finances. The best food, the best cars, better quality of life. This positive outlook exists mostly among people who have money and know their real price. This view is probably more accurate. However, I think a little differently.

I think that the money - it is a tool.

Money - a tool that allows us to improve our quality of life. A simple tool that can realize our goals. Money - it is not good, not bad. This is a simple neutral colored paper and zeros and editsy on our bank accounts.

And the quality of money is determined only by our own attitude toward them. It sounds corny, but in the hands of a bad man money - is evil. In the hands of a good - good. Similarly, using a shovel, you can plant a tree. And using it you can bury the man …

Why I wrote this?

And this is the first thought, which is also reflected in the book Bodo Schaefer "The road to financial freedom."

The author clearly says that if you think money is evil - they are you will not. If you have a positive attitude towards finance - they will come to you.

It is a matter of our thoughts. Because it is dependent on the thoughts of our actions. The man who thinks evil of money will not go to earn them. He will not be looking for opportunities to earn additional income. Conversely, a person who considers the money good, always striving to get them. Seeking possibilities and uses every chance.

Therefore, the first thought of the book sounds like:

Money has only the importance that we attach to them. Only you decide how to use this tool. And only your choice depends whether you will be successful or not.

If the head of dark, evil thoughts and misunderstanding - it is not necessary to paint the world in black. If you're ready for some serious money - do not think that this is impossible. Allow yourself to others, positive thoughts. Start with not material changes but a transformation of your thinking.

Money - it is a tool. And I'm sure you'll have it!

After a few hours I will continue this topic. And yet - answer yourself the question:do you agree that all depends on you?

Appreciate the time, enjoy life and be happy!

Hello Soulbrain. Interesting article you made, and a good point mentioned too. I tend to believe that your financial well-being starts in your head. However its not the money you rate as good/bad (I honestly don't think anyone would prefer less money than more of them), but an attitude towards rich people you meet. Many people choose to envy and jaundice the lucky man rather than learn from him. I think one can still work his way out of misery into middle class, and there's no better way than learn from an example of someone who made it before you.
Thanks for an article again, and good luck with your 2017 goal ;)

Thanks for the kind words! I will try to write interesting things
