Let's Describe Bootloader

in #bootloader6 years ago

Hello Friends

Welcome to my blog.
Today I am going to to describe the "bootloader".

What is bootloader?

Most of you know that all OS(Operating System) uses bootloader to boot the device. Bootloader is mainly an algorithm which selects what to boot. For example if you use Android device you should know it has a recovery option. When you turn on the phone by pressing the power button it turns on system(or main interface) but if you hold the volume up/down and power button at the same time it would boot to other options like recovery or fastboot. So it is bootloader who decide what to boot.

How bootloader works?

Bootloader is a form of drivers and software. It works with the input. Such as key combination on Android devices. It may vary to the OS and the developer.

Why there is bootloader?

If you read the first question you should know why there is bootloader. Because you can't boot your system without bootloader you must need it to boot the device.

Why the bootloader is locked?

In some android devices the bootloader comes locked. The manufacturers lock it for security purpose. If you have a device with unlocked bootloader then your device is vulnerable, system files can be modified and you device could be hacked. So the manufacturers lock the bootloader.

Does device with unlocked bootloader has benefits?

Yes. Devices with unlocked bootloader has a lots of benefits. By unlocking the bootloader you get the full control of your device. You can do whatever you want. But for that purpose you have to research. You should have heard about Custom OS. You can use Custom OS/recovery (like TWRP) only by unlocking bootloader.

In my opinion unlocked bootloader is best with proper caring . I mean if you know what you are doing then everything is good.

So these are the things that common people should know about bootloader.

I hope you enjoyed my post. If you really liked it don't forget to leave a follow. And one more thing ....

Always be happy

Goodbye Friends
