My first #BoulderSunday post

Last week, I took a day trip to Conowingo Dam in Northern Maryland. The West side is Fisherman's Park. The East side has an open field park leading to a wooded area. That's where most of these photos were taken. It looks the foundation of old abandoned houses along the lower Susquehanna River, at the upper end of the Chesapeake Bay. I posted about a dozen photos from the West side in my last post for #WednesdayWalk. I couldn't possibly upload every photo I took into that one post, so here are some photos of rocks and boulders for Boulder Sunday! I have even more photos from that day for even more posts. I'll try to post something else before that, as to not seem spammy. lol

I'm liking the new Scot Tribes. I'm really hoping it will continue after hr21, and the mining tokens aren't a scam. Maybe someone reading this knows more information about it than me. I read some information that steem-engine might be only temporary, and it will all be replaced with SMTs; thereby leaving the coins and the miners worthless. I don't approve of the hardfork at all, and I'm praying for the slim to none chance that the witnesses will reject it. I'd like to become a top 10 witness. It sickens me by the short term illogical thinking and potential actions caused by it.

Also, it bothers me a lot seeing so many Steemians panicking and saying totally irrational things like the reward pool needs to be removed altogether. Steem just makes sense as a long term investment. The pool deflates over a long period of time. It's perfect how it is. If you're looking for a get rich quick, buy and sell scheme, buy bitcoin. If you're looking for a long term investment, buy Steem; and hope no one fucks that all up for stable long term investors. I'm not concerned at all about the current price. I don't think it will ever go down to zero. I don't see how that would even be possible. It's just a cycle. It has pumped before with even higher inflation, and it will most likely pump again. I'm not worried at all about the current price. Hopefully Steemit (and/or whoever else) dumps all of their holdings and makes it even more affordable to buy in the short term.

Hello @edgy-ed-morrison nice to meet you! :-)
Wonderful boulders you have there, I like the look of the
old foundations, makes me wonder what a metal detector
would find! Sure a beautiful state with lots of rocks!
Thank you so much for sharing!

I heard a lot of Native American artifacts have been found in the area. There was supposedly a tribe that lived there named the Susquehanna, and they were all 8 feet tall. Supposedly they found the giant bones. That's just what I heard. I haven't really researched it. It looks like Europeans build the little houses. They said the natives put all the rocks in and around the river.

Seems there has been many giants world wide, the subjects
are of interest to me also! I know of quite a few channels on
youtube with some interesting history of north america and
other places. Been a busy world for a long long time! :-)

Such cool shots I was looking forward to seeing this post ;)

I to am unsure about the logic for HF21 but waiting to see how it turns out I think for many it will change totally what they do on here and I am not sure thats a good thing

If Scot and Steem Engine left Steem and started their own chain, I would leave Steem and follow them. A Steemit employee said HF22 will remove the rewards pool. They're trying to make Steem into just another alt coin. I want to become a top 20 witness and try to stop this insanity before it's too late. I hope Steem crashes to less than 1 penny before it pumps back up, so I might be able to become a top share holder.

That to me is crazy it’s turning against all that have been active on steemit and been supporters of it to do away with the reward pool is a slap in the face so I hope that insanity never happens

Hi @edgy-ed-morrison and great photos! I love visiting the Conowingo and have been there many times! I don't know much about all the different tribes but the hardfork does make me a bit nervous. I guess we will see soon how it goes. Hope you had a wonderful Boulder Sunday! 🙂

I used to keep up with what the HF were doing but not so much anymore.. I post and it is what it is... if I profit from it cool and if I don't oh well...

Posting your adventure photos back to back isn't spammy.. I used to post adventure photo blogs but I would have to break them up into 4 to 6 posts to cover it all...

Funny randomness.. my daughter just sent me a photo of a boy she's talking to and I called him edgy ed lol
