Thanks for the warning. This would not have affected me as I use a hardware wallet and do not see any scenario in which having my ERC20 tokens on CoinBase would be beneficial to me, that being said I have retweeted this as I know many who use Coinbase as their main wallets and could easily fall prey to this scam.
