Where do broken hearts go?
"Where do broken hearts go?
Can they find their way home back to the open arms of a love that's waiting there?"
~Where Auntie Whitney?
This song has brought again huge impact to those people who have been carried away by the movie, "That Thing Called Tadhana" starring Angelica Panganiban (as Mace) and JM de Guzman (as Anthony). The said movie has featured places which soul-searchers could actually visit- on the list is the BenCab Museum.
Since we planned to go to Baguio City, I and Trisha, my dearest cousin, had this place as top in our itinerary. I included this place wanting to feel relieved and healed because the searing pain of my failed relationship is the greatest suffering I had ever experienced. It's been nine months since we broke up but apparently I have not moved on yet. Damn them! I felt that I am making no progress and has been stuck in that heart ache. Visiting this place, I hope my "Anthony" will soon appear right in front of me and be a part of a new chapter of my life. LOL :)

From the City of San Fernando, we took the 8AM trip going to Baguio City. The bus dropped at us Coyeesan Mall and managed to take a taxi ride going to the museum paying Php 80 only. The museum is located at KM 6, Asin, Tuba, Benguet.
At 9:45 AM, we reached the museum. We then paid the admission fee, Php 100 for me and Php 80 for Trisha for the student rate. Upon entering we were welcomed by different kinds of artworks mostly unique to Cordillera region hanging along walls, ceilings, standing on shelves while some looked like house furniture.
We had a lot of pictures taken inside the museum.. If I will post it all here, the capacity of my storage in this blog site will be consumed. haha! :D
After enjoying all the works of art, we decided to go to Cafe Sabel, a mini restaurant located at the lowest level of the museum. We were mesmerized by the cozy atmosphere the area provides with its furniture with abounding colors and a relaxing view of a garden outside. Cafe Sabel offers a veriety of drinks and dishes; since I brought homemade cookies, we only had strawberry shake with was very delicious until the last sip.
After our museum tour, we rode a jeepney going to Central Baguio City and had lunch at Great Taste . Only the two of us, we ate the buttered chicken which was actually good for 4 person. Then, had 2 pcs. each again of the cream puff. Amazing tummies. hahaha!
We headed back to La Union at 10:30 in the evening after enjoying all our strolling and shopping activities.

I had enjoyed the trip with my cousin. I guess this would be the last out of town trip that we will have because soon they will be migrating to Canada. Though it pains me a lot, I know that the separation anxiety would be surpassed. I will miss her a lot! She's the one who was beside me when I was emotionally down. She would invite me to eat outside, laugh out loud as we want (though mine is silent laughter. haha!) and share stories as if there will be no tomorrows.
Anyways, these has been all planned by the heavens above. Though we may not be physically near with each other soon, there are ways-a lot of ways that we will be in touch with...<3
