NYC Dry Conditions Until Overnight Tomorrow
Good morning everyone. Clouds and scattered sprinkles from yesterday are long gone, replaced with slightly cooler and drier air. We'll hold onto it until late overnight tomorrow, when our next system begins to make its approach. Meanwhile, we're pretty much on cruise control towards April, and the only thing I'm looking out for is a period of gloomy conditions possible during the last 1/3 of the month.

We'll have a repeat tomorrow, but clouds will begin to increase late. It'll be slightly cooler with highs in the low to mid 50's.
Showers move in late tomorrow night, and that will extend into Friday. We could see some brief moderate to heavy rain out of this on Friday morning, and maybe even a rumble of thunder. Expect highs in the low to mid 60's, but with clouds and rain scattered about, it may not exactly feel like it.
We clear out on Saturday with a stiff breeze and cooler temps once again. We'll still be slightly above average with low to mid 50's, then we'll sink back down to the average realm on Sunday with upper 40's as highs.
Overall, we're in a fast moving, active pattern. However, the "active" doesn't necessarily equate to strong systems or copious amounts of rain. We remain on cruise control towards April and true spring, with this cool-to-mild-to-rainy-to-breezy-to-cool continuing down the road. There's no major systems on the immediate horizon.
Please note that with regards to any tropical storms or hurricanes, should a storm be threatening, please consult your local National Weather Service office or your local government officials about what action you should be taking to protect life and property.
