Governments will eventually make it a requirement to register cryptocurrency addresses and deem you a criminal if you refuse to comply. Many good, hardworking people will be imprisioned and face severe consequences because of this.

That's unfortunatelly quite possible scenario. However many goverments (like Swiss) may see it as an opportunity for those who seek safe shelter for their life savings.
With US economy falling into recession and EU having so many internal problems - it's very unlikely that countries representing so called "tax heavens" would feel much real pressure to change their approach.
We may witness huge transfer of wealth across the globe. Naturally those with assets (property, land, cash, fiat in the bank, crypto, some stocks and gold - name it) will be looking for ways to protect their resources.
Difficult times ahead of us
