Hi friends,
I am Jyoti from India. Here I am going to participate in the SEC S20 W5 contest: https://steemit.com/hive-147599/@lhorgic/sec20-wk5-graphic-design-hands-on-practical-2 organised by @lhorgic
Graphic Design Hands - On practical 1 |
---|
I am very much interested in taking part in this contest because I'm a graphic designer. It is a different experience to make a design using Canva and here I'm going to explain how I made it as a tutorial.
Step 1:
Open canva website
Step 2:
Go to customer size and choose 1080 "Instagram posts square" size
Step 3:
Save the image and upload it to canva
Step 4:
Insert the image and resize it as per the sample image
Step 5:
Reduce its transparency using the transparent tool at the top
Step 6:
Insert the image again and resize it smaller than the first one
Step 7:
Type "CHAM" using text tool
Step 8:
Change the font using the font tool and change its color using the color pallet as per its hex code
Step 9:
Send it to backward using the position option
Step 10:
Type "PION" using the test tool and change the font and color
Step 11:
Resize the text using the hierarchy method
Step 12:
Type the quote text using the text tool and place it at the bottom
Step 13:
Type the name and designation, rotate clockwise, and place it on the right side of the design.
Now the design is ready save it and download it as a jpeg or png image file.
I would like to invite
@pandora2010

Hello @jyoti-thelight thank you for participating in this week's lesson. We have assessed your entry and we present the result of our assessment below.
Feedback:
Let me start by commending you for the effort put into this practical work. It's superb and what I can say is that you simplified this design so much so that a novice can reproduce it seamlessly if he stumbles upon it by chance. Weldone. However I have few things to point out.
The only major correction I would like to mention is that of the motivational quote you used, you were asked you use yours and not the one in the sample design. In addition, you didn't discus the principles you engaged in making this design, it would have earned you more points. Notwithstanding, you did a clean job.
Thanks for taking out time to discuss the principles you engaged in making this design and how you engaged them. In all, you did beautifully well and I must commend your effort. I hope you keep up with the energy level dear student.
Regards
@lhorgic❤️

Upvoted. Thank You for sending some of your rewards to @null. It will make Steem stronger.
I've raed so many entries about this engagement challenge, but I find it difficult to understand how they came about with this graphics. To be honest, you've carefully highlighted steps by steps guide on how to create this design so easily. With this illustration, I think I won't ignore this week's graphic design. I'm dropping my entry soon, because I've learnt a lot from this post. Goodluck 🥰
Thank you for visiting my blog, I am glad that my post is very useful to you and guide to to make designs on canva, I like your feedback and I am greatful to your valuable compliments, I am motivated. Have a nice day!!
