Sales 101 - Tonality
So obviously you cannot hear my tone over text but they just of this is to be able to mirror or relate to the customer's emotional needs. Every living Human being has physical and emotional needs, as you all know our emotional needs out-weighs our physical needs when it comes to relationships. It's the exact same with business. You need to know when and how to adjust the volume, pitch, and depth of your voice to be able to tap into your clients buying potential.
For example, your client has just told you business isn't going so well. Very simply you add empathy to your voice," I hear you, everyone is having to pinch a bit here and there these days." - Your client now feels you have a greater understanding of his needs and care about him. ABC (Always Be Closing), next you say this is the exact reason I have come to see you today so we can find the best solution for your business to help move you forward and keep you growing!.
This is one example of many as to how tonality WILL effect a sale. Please note your facial expressions greatly affect the quality of your tonality.
