Our simple plan is breakfast at Pulai, climb Mount Pulai and lunch at Kulai before returning to Johor. Bahru / from Indonesia We travel with LION AIR (go to MALAYSIA from BANDA ACEH airport) which is the most direct and easy way, After exiting North South Expressway at Exit 252, clean up Kulaijaya victims and see this signboard. Turn right (towards the West) towards Mount Pulai. You will drive on a somewhat winding Road Range and see most of the oil palm plantations on either side.

After about 10 km, you will see a welcome arch at the entrance of Kampung Sri Pulai where Pulai volcano is located, Travel time by car from JB checkpoints here via North South Expressway a little over 1 hour, After passing the welcome arch, the mosque The village is on your right, A little farther from the mosque is Anggun Cafe, We stop here for breakfast filling food in the stomach, Anggun Cafe is a simple hometown house, Menu is limited but the boss lady prepares food lovingly. Simple and more than enough for your needs. Credit: Simon Chan from Traveled Paths blog My trekking friend Simon, Alice and HP, Together, we have canai bread (prata), fat rice and milk tea,
