THE ART OF BEING NOBLE

Hello steemians friends, when we heard the term Caballero we linked it with those brave men of the Middle Ages and that the cultural industry imposed on us an imagery of these knights from the role they played in the Medieval Crusades and in endless wars to protect the interests of the King. However, this word is insistently found in the book of Analects where Confucius reveals him as a noble being in his heart, in his spirit and body producing an original and unique being by manifesting a way of being and doing things with kindness, truth and beauty, that is, with Virtue.

The word in the contemporary West closest to Caballero by its signifier is Leader because it is, presented as a model to follow. But I think it is limited because it basically aims to be the leader of an international institution and organization. In practice, current leadership leaves much to be desired, for example, the perversion of the leaders of the world economic and political elites based on the interests of groups and their own advantage. In this article I will use the term Noble due to its characteristics, which goes beyond the connotation that is given to those who reach that noble title by family inheritance.

As you can see being tenacious, being tough, being complete, generating energy, light and brilliance, being liberated energy and attractive strength has a lot to do with the characteristics of the Knight of Confucius. Hence, it will assume the name of Noble, a word also absent in the current vocabulary but which is sure to be manifested permanently in the following considerations of Confucian thought.

In 159 paragraphs, Caballero is mentioned, explaining his way of being and acting and of moving around where he is. In this sense five categories are presented that allow to summarize 1) Prepares for Life; 2) Does not know mediocrity; 3) Vision of the totality manifested in its feeling and acting; 4) His presence is estimated by all; and 5) As a warrior, he does not let himself be carried away from the world.
