News lie or hoax has become a common enemy in social media. In addition, hate speech in the form of cyberbullying is also obliged us to oppose in social media because it provides psychological effects such as anxiety and sense of isolation.

Cyberbullying itself is a form of bullying, where when the perpetrators, especially school students, refuse to ask for help when teachers in bully classmates. At least, after school they can be free from the bully.

However, unlike bullying, cyberbullying is actually an action in which the perpetrator can lurk his victim wherever he is, let alone in the days of social media like now.

According to data Bullying Statistics reported Thursday (15/3/2018) cyberbullying is very dangerous for young children because it causes anxiety, depression, even suicide. Unfortunately, cyberbullying perpetrators are not necessarily aware that his behavior is not commendable.

Here are five types of cyberbullying actions that are often circulated in social media. Have you ever felt it?

1.Physical contempt

The most common occurrences are physical humiliation, or body shaming (embarrassing the body).

The women are often called fat, so they shyly show their bodies. In addition to weight, dark skin tone is also quite often heard in social media.

The worrying thing is when the victims of body shaming make unhealthy attempts to achieve ideal "beauty" or "good looks".

One thing to remember is better to run a healthy lifestyle rather than doing unhealthy ways to simply appear attractive in social media.

Famous singers like Adele, Lady Gaga, and Demi Lovato are also reluctant to flick behind those who insult their bodies.

2.Tribe

No one wants to be born with the skin color they want.

Unfortunately, lately many people who insult other people's tribe just for political reasons.

Funnily enough, the racist elements are claiming to be from a group that defends religion, whereas who created a different tribe is God.

Racial conflicts often arise from prejudice, for example one of the tribes is considered to often commit a crime, or a tribe is considered greedy, and so on. Though such traits exist in many people, and not in one tribe only.

Such events take place in several countries, and ideas are run against racism, one of them by increasing inclusiveness among ethnic groups.

3.Degrading Hobbies

Fortunate people who have a hobby so do not spend the time to harass others.

Unfortunately, in social media there are people who for no apparent reason to do a harassing action into the hobby of others.

Distracting action on a hobby can hinder a person's potential because each person has a different passion.

Each person has the gift of different abilities, do not let our passion and talents in a field that we love instead we stay for fear of humiliated others.

Remember the words of Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, "Do not let the noise of other people's opinions drown your heart."

4.Sexual Orientation

In social media many are blatantly insulting people who have different sexual orientations.

In Indonesia alone there was an attempt to criminalize same-sex couples, while in countries like Germany, France, Britain, Canada, Australia and Finland, there was already legal protection for the couples.

Fortunately, the more prominent figures who have different sexual orientations and start voting, call it Tim Cook who served as CEO of Apple, Sam Smith who won Oscars and Grammys, and famous presenter Ellen DeGeneres.

Various technology companies such as Google, Facebook, and Microsoft are also making efforts to reduce discrimination in those who have a different sexual orientation.

5.Sexism

Sexism is to discriminate or degrade others on the basis of the gender that it has, especially if the person is deemed to be not doing what the community hopes for, resulting in interference or judgmental behavior on the personal preferences of others.

Sexism often afflicts women, and can hinder them for achievement because the notion that women should focus on housework and just be a companion.

Such an attitude is feared to make women hesitant to continue his career or education. For example, there is still a presumption that women should not go to high schools and should not be leaders.

In social media is still often found when women are judged when wearing an open shirt or when not wearing a closed shirt as expected internet users.

In recent years, world-renowned figures have begun campaigning for women to be more confident in their career, one of which is Lean In, led by Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook's top brass.

There is also a #MeToo campaign aimed at raising awareness of sexual harassment facing women in the workplace.

But it turns out, sexism can also befall the men. The roots are the same, that is, if they are considered not to perform the role according to society's expectations.
