Interviews at Christmas Markets / Written by Soňa

in #busy6 years ago (edited)

One day me and my friend decided that it would be interesting to do some interviews with people in Christmas markets about what they like and do there. So we went to the market in Rathausplatz.

But it was harder than we thought. We were afraid of talking to people! Because people are often rude and maybe they think we want money or something like that. After a really long time we spoke to people.

Now I will write the informations which they told us.

The first group of people what we talked to was from Opava in the Czech Republic. They were teachers and they made this trip to the Viennese markets, because of a school journey. They loved the ambiance of the place, decorations and candles.

It was difficult to decide to talk to them, but we did it. Our first interview was done!

The second group we met was also from the Czech Republic, from Vsetín. They were there with a school for one day, too. They liked most the decorations and were just 14 years old. The way took them about 4 hours from Vsetín.

After this group we went to do a short walk and then we interviewed the first people from Austria, two older sympathetic women. They liked us, as the other people, the atmosphere and the punch. But they said that this market is just about punch and Vienna has really nice markets. For example Spittelberg or Freyung. They were into art and small markets.

After our conversation with the women, we asked two young girls who where from Czechia. This interview was short, they told us that they are from Dubňany, they liked the atmosphere and were there with school.

The last group what we met was a group of children from Olomouc, they liked all about the markets and they visited other interesting places, too. For example an interesting place named Hundertwasserhaus. They were also 14 years old.

And that’s was all about our interview-day. It was interesting. It was funny that we met so many people from the Czech Republic.

Good idea to interview the people to find out more about Vienna and it's markets. I like the pictures, too! :)

Interesting interviews, thank you for sharing them with us! :)
