EXPECTATIONS

The Bible makes me to understand that the expectations of the righteous shall not be cut short" .

Actually I believe this without doubt. But does this also appropriate to humans? Are humans also to be expectant on their fellow human?
One thing that is so certain is that, humans are dynamic, just like seasons change , so do people also change. The best person that can disappoint is man. At times, man may falter not intentionally but because they are incapable of handling times and seasons and because they are also dependent on a superior being.

What are the forms of expectations?
We could expect an encouraging word, money, a visit , a warm hug or an understanding amidst others.
Now, the fact that in one way or the other you have been disappointed in one of these ways doesn't guarantee that you should be sad or even stop Loving.
We can learn to talk to God and then trust him to touch the heart of man. We can also trust God to receive favour in the sight of men and kings.
It is dangerous expecting or trusting man. But it is profiting trusting God. Let go off your eyes off men. Though God may use them to bless you, but let man not become the focal point of blessing.
