Traditional Mortar Maker

Mortar and pestle is a traditional grinding machine there where in minangkabau we called "batu giliang" grinding stone.

A pestle and mortar is a kitchen device used since ancient times to prepare ingredients or substances by crushing and grinding them into a fine paste or powder.
In minangkabau west sumatra a mortar and pestle are made from stone, we still can find the traditional maker of this are arround river area there where lots of material of stone they can make, carv into a mortar, and also near the vulcanic area.
