Last year we launched humane with a project tagged "100 SMILES". The purpose of this project was to bring smiles to the faces of 100 homeless kids and send them back to school.

We were honored to have some members of the #EOS community and block producers donate to this course. The project raised 457 EOS in December 2018 and we were able to do several campaigns with the funds raised.

first campaign:

Humane team visited "state primary school, rumuosi" in Port Harcourt, rivers state. We distributed, details here

second campaign:

Humane team visited a slum in Port Harcourt, rivers state. Gave out rice, drinks, clothes and books to different families. Links to updates: one , two, three, four

Third campaign:

yesterday 8th of February, we visited ojodu primary school 1,2 and 3. After the successful campaigns from last year, we had extra books, drinks and snacks which we thought to distribute to another school.

Here in the City of Lagos, we visited Ojudu Primary School located at Ojudu Berger. The school is divided into three sections thus the overall population in the school were more than the items we had so we distributed to every student we could reach out to.
Carefully coordinated by the State Coordinator of every primary school in Lagos state, the books, drinks, snacks, pens and pens were distributed equally to each sections Head teacher and with the help of the teachers, some books were stored in the head teachers office for some kids who did exceptionally well in the previous term..

We are currently making plans and raising funds to put smiles on the faces of kids and mothers who have nothing, distribute malaria nets and drugs to victims affected by malaria and much more. Let your benevolence spirit be supported with actions.
