Gujarat Sultan Bahadur Shah murder: An infamous example of betrayal of imperialist Portuguese
1 The Mughal Emperor, Humayun, chased away and stayed at the end of 1535 at the Bahadur Shah Diu of the Sultan of Gujarat. Due to some disappointment at the chase of the Mughals, the sultan made a deal of cooperation with the Portuguese, despite a lot of reluctance.
The agreement was signed between Bahadur Shah and Portuguese governor Nuno de Kuneh, water or land, both sides will fight for each other's interests at any one place.
Bahadur Shah had originally made this deal as a means of restoring Gujarat by fighting against the Mughals. He knew that it is not possible for him to be defeated by the Mughals from Gujarat. So he wanted Portuguese beside him.
But Sultan Bahadur Shah had to pay much more for this deal. He gave permission for this disgusting Portuguese to build a fort, which was later not only in Gujarat, but also for the whole of Hindustan. With this shocking decision of Bahadur Shah, the Portuguese pirates were able to sit in the ground for the first time in Hindustan's ground.

However, through this treaty, Bahadur Shah displayed utmost generosity towards the Portuguese, whoever was able to suspect that he was worthy of it. But this pact has resulted in the total piracy of this Portuguese pirates. They have been trying to create a tough hurdle for Hindustan land for the last 25 years. But for the sake of their own worst, imperialist behavior, there was no place in Hindustan.
But in the absence of a little discretion, Bahadur Shah finally gave a gift to him.

Sultan Bahadur Shah thought that he must get the support of the Portuguese in the fight against the Mughals.
But after occupying Gujarat, from Mughal administrators to the general, everyone is busy with unlimited enjoyment. At the same time, there was an increase in disunity among ourselves. Basically, the political situation of Gujarat is changing overnight due to Mughal luxury and dissonance. When the general public of Gujarat created a mass movement against the Mughals, the situation took a deadline.
By this time, Bahadur Shah was able to recover Gujarat's advantage without having the help of the Portuguese.

But Bahadur Shah, after recovering Gujarat, was suffering from severe repression. He was able to understand the fact that he had brought the crocodile with the permission of the Portuguese to cut the canal. But then there was nothing to do. He must respect the agreement.
Meanwhile, there was a dispute between the Portuguese and the local people about the construction of the castle in Doi. The local people had never agreed to put the pirates on the ground in Hindustan. On this issue, regular clashes started on both sides.
As the situation turned worse, Bahadur Shah came to Diu from Champanhi at the end of 1536.
