TOXIC!!!!
The thing about toxic people is that they great an idea in ur head that you're the toxic one.
An abusive person will construct a reality in ur head that what they do is normal and accepted. In my last post I gave a few red flags for identifying an abusive person which were; Intensify, Control, Irrational Jealousy and I'll continue from there today.
- BLAME: An abusive person always delegates blames and never takes responsibility of their actions, even when their wrong are clear they'll still turn the table around and push the blame to you.
- SABOTAGE: An abusive person will deliberately attempt to disconnect you from your support system; Family, friends. job, hobbies. They will try to remove you from everything and everyone you draw strength from so that when they strike you'll have no one else to run to, but them.
*CRITICISM: Healthy criticism is okay but when an individual constantly tries to bring you down and sees nothing good with anything you do and says things like, " No one else can tolerate you, no one else can love you, without me you're nothing, " That person is trying to create à reality in ur head wherein you will always need him or her.
- ANGER: We all know the good old anger, Hot temper, make no mistakes, it wasn't his/her reflex that hit you. A hot tempered person is a potential abusive person.
Don't make the mistake of thinking time or love can change an abusive person. ABUSE IS NOT LOVE
Gain your self confidence back, you are special, loved , amazing and anyone will be blessed to have you.
