Be a judge or something close here

I have a case on my desk and I would love to know what you think about it. So you can definitely call this an opinion poll.

Like most of the stories behind my posts, this is an 100% real and fresh out of the oven kind of thing and this couple could need knowing who is right and who isn't... That's if there is a right or wrong... You feel me?

The story

Mercy (the babe) had agreed to work on a project with her guy's friend (Nonso) and was to meet him somewhere in Ikeja. She got there in time but had to wait because Nonso was was stuck in Lagos Traffic. like we all are these days

"He will be here soon" she thought and so proceeded to find somewhere to sit but couldn't find any seats. In light of this, she accepts a to sit in a guy's car while she waits.

Note: the doors where open and there was no funny business. In fact, he leaves her in the car to attend to the reason he was at that place and came back with bottled water which she thankfully accepts.

I hope you're following cause you are judging

An hour had gone and the car owning gentleman had to leave. She was left alone in the sun with a low phone battery and no idea how long it all take Nonso to get there.

So when this guy most people would find overbearingly annoying came along, all she saw was temporary engagement.

She was beginning to get irritated and saw the drink he offered as payment for all the gibberish coming from him. Almost like saying 'if I have to endure this, for lack of a better thing to do, I might as well do it with a drink'. Yet she kept it straight and plain.

A few minutes later Nonso shows up and she had to leave.

so what's the problem?

That evening while she gave her guy the gist about her day and details about waiting and what had down, he didn't seem too pleased with her.

He said it had been indecent of her to accept the drink and didn't like that she sat in a stranger's car.

She argues that there were no sits around and felt sitting in an open (alone most of the time) was better than roasting in the sun and felt since she was honest from the get go with the second guy, she hadn't done anything wrong.

This is where you come in.... What do you think?😏

Sort:

Is there any need to say a thing here?
Obviously you do not like the guy for his awkward response.
And if I have to comment that the guy was somehow right with his response to his bae, won't you see me as anti-female? 😂

It's funny but the guy has got his feeling. Out of 10 guys, 8 would feel very uncomfortable with her having accepting the drink and even sat down with another guy in his car. The rest 2, even they feel better, there are hundreds of thoughts rumbling in their minds.

It isn't that he didn't know she must have been frustrated by the harsh sun and having to wait like its forever, but most men do not like to have the picture of that scene - where you perceive your girl finds comfort around another dude. Most men will feel insecure about this.

People may call this jealousy. It is fine and normal. But it is more painful and if not you should think twice if after explaining the whole drama and the guy only gave a smile and maybe offer a thanks to the dude for entertaining his girl.

Some things unknown to us might have got held him back and ran behind the the time. So saying the guy was wrong may be very unfair.
Ladies should also understand that "while trying to be honest, all clothes aren't meant to be sun-dried.

If people may call it jealousy, what do you call it?

I do agree that jealousy just like anger, disdain are normal and most natural. Yet, insecurities, however natural it might be, never helps anything, much less a relationship. Not every lady discusses her day with details like that. It takes someone open to do that.

My stance isn't based on feminism. I'm yet to understand what the bloody movement is for. I do not see you as anti-females from what you said. It is not a gender war but a matter of a couple's relationship

Hmmmm i'm trying to picture from a female perspective - craving to know what went wrong with him and his movement. She should have just ask him immediately. Showing her aggression at that spot might have made him realise she was pissed off.

"...a slight jealousy in a relationship is needed to make it healthy".

Also i didn't really mean you tryno see me as anti-female I was only trying to draw to draw a conclusion that never was.

I know you didn't mean that.
Your contribution to this made me Look at things from another angle.. Reinforcing my stance.
Thank you😆

Hmm😀😀 I don't believe she did anything wrong by sitting in the guy's car and the drinks.

I believe her so called guy feels insecure and jealous. The guy is not serious

You're in my head, aren't you?

😂😂😂😂 really?? Don't mind some guys jere
