S.A.S Lifestyle

Hello

I found this military philosophy very interesting, true and applicable to all people even if you have never been in any special forces and you will never be. These three elements are true to every life and individual.

For those who do not know S.A.S is an acronym for Speed Aggression Surprise. It has been used in the military and special forces for decades to carry out their missions.

The author of an article titled
"How a Small SAS Force “Convinced” a Large German Force to Flee"
warhistoryonline.com

Used the following words to explain how SAS special forces work;
"Their role is to sow confusion in the minds of the enemy, making them believe they face a bigger force than they actually do, and using the minimum amount of men to do so. It’s a role forged in World War II by a handful of insanely brave men with minimal arms, transport and supplies, doing the damage one would expect from a far larger force"

These three elements are important to each us as we go about our lives.

Speed.
Sometimes we need to be quick, to think on our feet, because things, opportunities and changes wait for no body. You cannot control them, stop them neither regulate their speed. You got be quick to catch the wave, to cease the opportunity.

Being quick does not mean you move without a plan, a strategy or a target. By the way you cannot move quickly in randomness, quickly is only possible when the target is clear, the plan is clear and the strategy is clear. And the backup is in place. So the speed movement I suggest here are not without analysis, goal and strategy.

Special forces they plan their missions meticulously, taking into account very small detail. The draw the plan and set things in motion. They cannot afford to be lousy and reckless, because that will only achieve them a disastrous defeat and the loss of the lives of its precious men.

So it is a speed with brain, details and strategy. Thus you cannot do otherwise.

I sell to you the idea of speed with reasoning, analysis, plans, strategy and wisdom. For that case it has nothing to do with shortcuts.
It has something to do with knowing your purpose of your life,
Have a plan to achieve your goals,
Being disciplined,
Commitment to what you do in spite of all hardships and failures,
Keeping time frames,
Doing your homework no matter how long it takes and how much hard it is,
It means being able to react wisely to the unexpected detours,
It means being focused,
It means being brave,
It means letting go the unproductive things to focus on the most productive, and
It means being unconventional.

This is what speed in life mission means.

The other element is Aggression.

Nothing comes easy in life. Aggressiveness is important in life. Become an stoppable, become resilient. Working hard and smart. Seeking for solutions for new challenges. When you fall six times rise up seven times. When one door closes find another one. When you can't fly run, if you can't run walk, if you can't walk crawl, these are the famous words of martin Luther king Jr. Just keep doing something about you're mission, do not quit.

Until victory is won.

History provides a testimony for what I'm talking about. All great men of history were aggressive towards their mission. They never surrendered their mission to anything. They got what they got through, aggressiveness of mindset, body, work and character.
You need to learn this from them. I will give you one but their many in the books of history. Edison failed 1000 times, before he was able to invent a light bulb. What do you call that? For me I call that aggressiveness.

Listen true success and true values are never handed in a silver plate. So be aggressive, be proactive. Be there when its hot and when its cold, be there when its raining and when the sun is unforgiving, be there when your happy and when you are not, be there when you feel it and when you do not feel it.

The third and last element is surprise.

Work in silence, let results make all the shouting. Your life is your business and so is your mission. Why announce everything you do on social media or any where else for that matter. Unless you're advertising the services you offer, or the products that you're selling. Otherwise personal things should remain private. Let people be surprised by you're progress, momentum, achievements and success.

Do not turn your life into a public business.

Our public victories come from our private living. Avoid being in the eye of the public, unless that is part of the business. My point is, make secrecy your friend all the time.

Not all people who are doing great things are in the eye of the public daily.

Lastly in surprise, it means be unpredictable, be fresh, be creative and reinvent yourself often. Stop being boring.
Surprise people with your freshness, your ability to learn new things, to adapt and to change.

This will keep you in the game. It will keep you flying high. It will ensure continual success. Many lives reach somewhere and stagnate, they lose passion and freshness. But if you learn surprise, your life will always be rich in freshness.
