Halley's Comet

in #busy6 years ago

The solar system is composed of asteroids, planets, satellites and comets; these comets are celestial bodies that revolve around the sun in diverse trajectories, being solid bodies coming from the transformation materials of the sun due to their proximity.

Halley's Comet is a natural phenomenon product of the dust, ice and rocks revolve around the sun in different trajectories and its materials are sublimated (transformation from solid to gaseous state without passing through the liquid phase), to become a true comet; halley refers to its short periods of appearance of this celestial body that appears every 76 years and I assure you that it was the same that appeared 240 years after Christ.

The tail and coma are a structural part of a comet in general, but when the tail is located in the opposite direction to the sun, it implies that the comet will have different directions.

Halley's Comet, is immense and brilliant that turns around the sun between 74 and 79 years, being an average of reappearance every 76 years; Also known with the name 1P/Halley, in honor of Edmond G Halley: the term comet derives from the Greek meaning astro scalp.

Comet Halley's visits take place every 76 years, when it was seen in 1531, its next visit would be in 1607, from then back to 1682 and so on up to the present day, being the only comet that can be seen twice in the life of a person with an extraordinary coincidence.

Mark Twain was an American writer who wrote a documentary related to the many apparitions of Comet Halley, as he was the protagonist of the two consecutive appearances at the beginning and end of his life, the first occurred in 1835 and the last in 1910.

It is also important to know that Comet Halley, besides being known as bright and large, has short periods (every 76 years regularly) from the Oort cloud (near the vicinity of the solar system, about a distance of 1 light year from the sun); being close to our planet earth is one of the comets that can be seen with simple vitas without the need for a specialized optical instrument.

Edmond Halley in his analysis and in his period of comet reappearance predicted that the comet will be seen again in 1758, but it actually appeared in March 1759, and 76 years later the comet reappeared with more brightness in 1910.
