Complaint of raping two Tripura girls in Lama
Two Tripura youths from Bandarban have been accused of raping two members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) by calling from the house on Wednesday night. Police told the police about the rape of these two girls in the police station.
Lama thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Appella Raju Naha said the case was filed on Thursday night on charges of rape. No one has been arrested yet.
Locals said that three members of a BGB camp of Fasiyakhali Union of the upazila went to Tripuraara with arms at 10pm on Wednesday. They used to call two young people in the jungle through the neighborhood of a neighboring village. There are three BGB members in a guard. Two women were raped and threatened with two arms.
The victims of the rape alleged that BGB members called a neighbor's cell phone and called them out of the house. They did not want to go Then Didi told them that if they do not go, there will be difficulty. They went there fearing that. There, BGB members first want to pay their money. Two BGB members raped the two while threatening the weapon if they did not agree. One was in the guard. When the people of the neighborhood came forward, the BGB members fled. In the fear that the BGB members can come back again, they both come in the jungle in the forest and in the morning they come to the park.
Bandarban Superintendent of Police (SP) Zakir Hossain Majumdar said two youths have been interrogated in presence of BGB officials, upazila executive officers and high officials of the police. They specifically blamed the three BGB members. They said that one was in the guard. The other two raped. The cases were taken based on their information.
