WORDS ON MARBLE SERIES; issue no.1
Prompt:
"Work hard until your bank balance looks like phone number." -@durgaani
Hard-work is a concept that can not be over-emphasized. It plays a vital role in our lives as humans on our journey to success. Whatever field we find ourselves in and whatever we do as humans hard-work is essential to growth and development. Whatever we do, and wherever we go hard-work is essential to our rise to the highest echelon of the success ladder. Indeed, hard-work is core to every step we wish to take in attaining our dreams and goals.
What Is Hard-work?
Hard-work is the ability to execute one's plans and take actions towards the attainment of said goals. Its the discipline and resilience to carry on a line of action, whether the conditions are favorable or not.
Why Work Hard?
As the saying goes: Nothing good comes easy.
A personal favorite of mine is the saying by bodybuilders and athletes: No pain, no gain.
When there is no struggle for a thing, there is no value to it. Therefore, not anybody can attain success. Only the resilient and strong-willed can achieve success. It is difficult, even impossible to defeat the hardest worker in any field. Success, fame, wealth; they all come for a price. To reach the top you must first be ready to sacrifice time, effort, pleasure, comfort and many other luxuries. In life only the disciplined make it to the top, No shortcuts and no diversions. Just focus.
What to do?
- Focus. Set your mind to your goals and never lose sight of your goals.
- Be dedicated, determined and committed to the goal.
- Always have in mind that success does not come at once. You will always face challenges and obstacles. Never lose faith and keep working hard.
In the end, you'll look back at your efforts and smile. To you it would be worth it.
And if you keep up hard work long enough, your bank balance may just look like a phone number.
Cheers!
