The gardens of Villa Taranto in Verbania, between Intra and Pallanza, are known throughout the world for their beauty and for the wealth of floral species that they host. The result of the arduous elaboration undertaken by Captain Mc Eacharn in 1931, these gardens from a thousand shades of color, and a thousand intoxicating scents offer from march to November, wonderful sceneries, flowers to visitors.

The style is essentially English, even though there are some inspirations of Italian statues, fountains, ponds, terraces, waterfalls, or all those ornaments that add a further magical aura to this veritable !
earthly paradise, a sort of sacred temple of nature.

Is one of the botanical gardens, the most important of the world with thousands of species of plants and flowers from each place and harmoniously distributed over an area of around 16 hectares, crossed by 7 km of paths and avenues. Impossible, even if only briefly, make the idea of the wealth of colour, scent, and emotional impact: eucalyptus, azaleas, rhododendrons, magnolias, michelia, maples, camellias, dahlias, tulips, lotus, heathers, dwarf asters, hydrangeas, many tropical plants (including the giant water lily Victoria amazonica), rare specimens such as the Dicksonia antartica and Davidia involucrata).
