Competition is everything

Hello my fellow followers, it seems your number has grown significantly since my last post. Although I am sure most of you some kind of bots, passive and inactive users hahaha, but well it doesn't matter as long as there is one who will find the post usefull.

By the way there is an awesome application for typing in markdown or .md called **typora, **which is available for most OS. And if you don't know what .md is, google **markdown cheatsheet ** and I reccomend start using the typora for making drafts and playing around with the structure and looks of the text (I m not using it now, but that is what the the post is about...)

_ Let met explain my point, hopefully it won't take too long _

Basically, I strongly believe:_ _**where there is competition, it is better for all the stakeholders, **by stakeholders im talking about, users, developers, regulators, inverstors and all sort of end points people directly or indirectly affected or involved in the ecosystem.

Why I decided to write this post, reason is very simple, steem.io blockchain is an open database where anyone can use it or develop on top of it, unlike some centralized app(uber or airbnb) which is reguladed and governed outwards from the single decision centre. Why it is good you ask me??? or dont ask me, I will still write my thougts down.

I am writing this post at busy.org which is another interface developed on top of steem.io, it is open source , you can find it at github and it is supported by the team who are behind the steemconnect (simpifying the login to steem, similar example to explaint what it is, would be how you authorize on some platforms thru google or facebook logins) and it actually has the build in feature similar to typora (so writing this post is very easy), where you see the output from your current input.

I m for sure, 100% sure any of you, who have used steemit for some time, came across some bugs or limited availabily of features, there are no groups, some time it lags or there is limited search and horizontal integration and basically many flaws.

But as you might realise busy.org or another platform which simulates twitter (zappl.com , and it doesnt work right now, but thats not the point) or beta.chainbb.com ( a forum) all of these platforms create competition, since althougth they offer some what different features or philosophies, in the end they compete for users, and this is the key to healthy development. But this is no ordinary competition, it it much more like suplimenting each other. Because, if one platform falls behind and doesn't evovle with the need and wants of the users, or other participant, other frameworks will rise to fullfill the much needed improvements, which I find very sustainable and dope. Btw busy org is the sh*t right now, it just feels so smooth, and new version is being developed, so you might want to participate at their discord channel or github. Peace!!!

New features of Steemit.com all coming after busy.org and SMT introduction to community.

As usual, photo is taken by me, it is inside of the Lenin's Library in Moscow, Russia
