The excitement surrounding cryptocurrencies, blockchain projects and ICO’s has resulted in many people becoming lost in the buzz of marketing and PR of projects within this space.

DUCATUR’s victories in Hackathons
If you have been following Ducatur’s progress, you will be aware that our development team are very enthusiastic about Hackathons as we find it a very good opportunity to test our capabilities and create something really new and innovative.

Recently, our team have won 4 major hackathons:
Golos Dapp Hack — This competition took place on the 18th of February 2018. In this hackathon we developed an alternative use-cases for the token GOLOS which is a popular social project and can be found at golos.io.
Unblock Hackathon — During this marathon 48-hour competition we worked on various tasks for the Blockchain Institute R&D Lab, Waves Platform, Ergo and EncryptoTel and came first in the competition.
AplaBlockchainHack — This hackathon was organized by several companies including blockchain platform APLA, Gazprom Neft, IPChain and others. The Ducatur team developed the best solution in the area of intellectual property and patenting and came first once again.

Imaguru International Blockchainthon — This event was powered by EPAM, CyberFund and Smartz.io. The Ducatur development team won a consolation prize there for its smart solutions.
Recent activities
On this and previous weekends our team participated on 3 other Hackathons. We developed an online shop for futures on smart-contracts and electronic wallets for the shop and the exchange using atomic swaps.
