B&W Travel Photo Contest

My entry for the contest is this photo taken by my brother-in-law with his fancy Canon camera of our family at our Christmas holiday spot last year: Kliphuisie on the banks of the Breede River, Swellendam, Western Cape, South Africa.

I cannot express the beauty of our nature experiences here, including huuuge resident rain spiders, bats and mice, deadly scorpions, water-gliding snakes, dassies, birdlife, fish, crabs and even otters! But we love the peace and tranquility that being away from civilization (without cellphone reception) brings.
