RE: Calibrae Day 2 Progress Report

in #calibrae8 years ago (edited)

If you ask me, with 50% growth in the last 6 weeks, in blockchain size, the ship has taken on too much water, the course is only part of the fix, they need to patch up the hull, bail out the water, and replace most of the engine. Or to use more literal terms, they have to stop bots, yesterday, they have to stop the preminer bullies from playing social manipulation games, yesterday, and ya know what, they are doing nothing, and if history is any record, Ned is the captain of the titanic, but not even rearranging the deckchairs.

Sort:

I think they are waiting for somebody to build the new,...

They lack the creativity and intelligence required to properly assess the best ways to solve problems. They are attached to their premined stake, and that bogus method of funding development, in an unbounded manner, in fact, probably right now, they are dumping steem on the market to fund this new 'fabric' they are building. It runs counter to the best practices in the industry for scaling databases.

They are just extending and pretending so they can keep milking their premined stake, until someone does bring something out that vacuums out their userbase and they go down in flames in a public spectacle of ignominy.

Let's hope that is not the sum of the indicators.
